Rand Paul / Kentucky Tea Party

Ok so lets go back about a year to May 1st 2009. Dr. Rand Paul announces on the Rachel Maddow Show that if Senator Jim Bunning (R. Kentucky) was not going to run for a third term that he'd certainly stand in the Republican Primary and soon after the show would form an exploratory committee. The irony is, that here's a douchbag who claims to be a Libertarian, announcing his candidacy on a liberal talk show and when he wins, goes back to the same liberal talk show for an interview and shows his true colors. He then blames his gaffs on the liberal media. In fact the same liberal media that he announced his candidacy on. Where have I heard that before? Now the Republicans have a problem. Do they embrace him and his views, or do they distance themselves. Last night Dr. Paul said in a nutshell, that if you own a business and did not want to give service to someone based on race, religion or national origin, that you shouldn't have to. Today he said that it was the liberal media taking him out of context. In May 2002 he criticized the Fair Housing Act in a letter to the Bowling Green Daily News. In other words if you own an apartment building you could choose not to have a black person live there just based on their race. Here is the Tea Party candidate running on the Republican ticket in November flat out sounding like a racist. And for you people that are saying don't go there, you are the same people that bring up code words and code phrases the last two times Obama has picked a Supreme Court nominee. I guess some of the media have had it right all along, the Tea Party movement is full of racists and until they denounce Dr. Paul, that's how I will see them also. One thing that's really interesting is the guy who lost to Dr. Paul (Trey Grayson) sure missed an opportunity to win that election as Dr. Pauls views haven't changed since at least 2002. Then again maybe that's how divided this country really is. I'd like to think it's not though. Oh and one other thing of interest, Dr. Paul is a medical doctor and about 50% of his business is medicare patients. Dr. Paul criticized his opponent for supporting health care legislation yet he wants more money put into medicare reimbursement to doctors. He claims to be a Libertarian who wants government out of everything but supports a government ban on abortions. Interesting.

yes he did say business owners should not be forced by the gov. to serve anyone, that the owner would decide who he can serve or not.get the gov out of my face and my business very libertarian ideas.but he also mentioned that racism is sickening you forgot to say that[maybe not you commies always come out with half truths to make your point of view look so much superior]as for racists in the tea party sure there are some but you could not name one organization in the u.s. or any other country that dose'nt have them.it erks me that 2 months ago there was ads in newspapers asking for volunters to infiltrate tea party rallies and toss racial slurs so it looked as though the teas were racist.and how about all the black congressmen walking pass the teas the day of the health care bill saying they were insulted and spat on,and yet with all those cameras rolling not one incident can be proven[a $100,000 bounty by a conservative group will be awarded to anyone who can prove it,and yet not one of those congressmen have stepped forward]why are you not mentioning these facts.you say only repubs can be racist but members of this administration can make jokes about jews, and sonja sotomayer our newest justice says being a latino woman can give her a better insight to justice, can you immagine what would happen if scalia said i can make better judgements cause i am white i'll leave that thought in your far left wing liberal commie mind to ponder.

  2. I watched the whole Rachel Maddow interview and he never said racism is sickening during the interview. Isn't that what you accuse me of when I mention Limbaugh or Beck? Instead he blamed his comments on the liberal media twisting what he said. As for his excuse about getting government out of everything then why does he support a government law prohibiting abortions. Why does he accept medicare (socialism) patients while asking the government for reimbursement money. And for the business owner choosing who he will and will not serve, did the business owner build the roads leading customers to his business? No it was built by the masses all paying a little bit each. That's called socialism.

never saw rachel m a year ago,but the taped comments he made i did see today i'll stick by my comments made above.maybe the one you saw on rachel was edited would'nt be the first time msnbc pulled a stunt like that but then again like i said on above comments about half truths to make your point of view or complety ignoring ?s like mine about nashville or the $100000 bounty or administration officials telling jewish jokes, but with progressive commies like you the ends always justify the means as long as you can walk away smiling thinking you have won some kind of moral victory.i have a more intresting ? about your beloved rachel madow dose'nt she look like mary lou retton on steroids.tim shes a full blown carpet muncher no man has or will ever take her seriously why should you?

  4. Putting down gays is like putting down any group of people, including Germans. That's the problem, you stereotype people when you dont know them. I look at people as individuals and see their qualities if they have them, or in other cases some people are just assholes. Just because your German, I don't believe you have the same views as Hitler did, but some assholes do think that way. As for editing you still haven't seen the unedited version of the Pimp and the Prostitute at the Acorn offices or the Washington D.C. rallies, both covered by Fox News. Too bad Fox News refuses to show the unedited tapes. At least Hannity apologized for using footage of the much larger 9/12 rally for the health care rally in November. Question is if no one had noticed, would Hannity admit to the mistake or just hope it went unnoticed. As for carpet munching, the only thing hotter than two women together is when the two women invite you to join in. And if we took a vote on that every guy I know would agree.

  6. First of all this is my blog and I write about things that interest me, so as for answering your questions, if I don't feel like answering them it's because I am blogging about things that interest me. This site is not here to answer your questions. If you want to debate what I am saying that's fine. As for Nashville, as of May 8th Secretary Napolitano had visited the area with the Commerce Secretary soon after. That day 4.1 million in direct assistance was given to people in need. As for your other crap (Bounties and Jewish jokes)did you get that same info from Fox? The same station that will not play the unedited tapes of the Pimp and the Prostitute. As for the religious comments at the bus stop, that was just two guys joking around or so I thought. Was it in poor taste, sure, but if that kind of thing is fair game, when we discussed the constitution by gate L8 you said that blacks and women should not be allowed to vote. You need to watch what you say also.

  8. It's my blog, I make the rules, I write about what I want to and if you want to debate what I write about that's up to you. but I am not here to answer questions of yours. Yes I do place blame. That's what I choose to write about and there are a lot of things I don't like about government whether its a Republican or a Democrat. I write down my feelings as an outlet. Also slow down, the angrier you are the more unintelligable your comments get. You are a good talker so write how you talk.
